Dropcard Marketing

Posted on April 24, 2012 at 8:45 PM Comments comments (0)

Dropcard marketing is another inexpensive yet effective way to draw people to Franklin's Gift Club. Although plain cards can be used, the most popular dropcard is called the dollar dropcard. Dollar dropcards resemble actual money. They are typically folded which gives the appearance of being actual money. The most popular dollar dropcard is the $100 bill replica.

No worries, it is not considered counterfeiting because the dimensions of the dropcard does not match those of actual U.S. Bills. They are altered and the "outside" of the dropcard is not a full image of the bill. However, when it's folded, it does give the optical illusion of looking like a real folded dollar bill. And who can resist picking up something that looks similar to money! That's why it's so effective.

Typically, people who use dollar dropcard marketing tend to drop them everywhere without targeting the audience that they are seeking. This can not only be a waste of time, but also waste of money! You should always try to target your market as much as possible especially when marketing off-line. Budgeting is even more important with offline marketing, so you want for every dollar put towards it to count.

Be strategic with your marketing. Place them in areas where there is a higher likelihood of people interested in working from home or concerned about money. A parking lot is not a good place even though there may be many people that walk through, it is not targeted. A popular spot is to place them on atm's. However, an even better place would be to insert them inside of small business and home business magazines in your local bookstores or newspaper stands. People who read these magazines are interested in working from home. The library is another good place. You can also insert them in self help books especially ones about the law of attraction. Free employment guide publications is another good place. You can also leave them with your tip (not in place of!) at restaurants that you frequent. Again be creative but targeted!

Online, there are two sites that I would highly recommend for dollar dropcard marketing:

Dollar Card Marketing

Realistic Dropcard

If you are on a budget, you can always make your own dropcards using heavy cardstock. It won't look like a dollar bill but more like a postcard with vertical writing. You can post these in the same manner that you would flyers. Again, consistency is key!

Using Business Cards

Posted on April 6, 2012 at 9:50 PM Comments comments (0)

In my continued discussion regarding marketing tips, I would like to talk about another affordable tool you can use to invite others to Franklin's Gift Club: Business Cards. I actually prefer the term Activity card rather than business because cash gifting is NOT a business. However, distributing a business/activity card can be just as effective as passing out flyers.

The main thing to consider with this method is if you are willing to receive calls and answer people's questions. Personally, I enjoy doing that. People are going to have questions and I think it gives you an edge when you can personalize a program. People tend to join programs based upon the trust they have with the person inviting them. So if you are willing to receive phone calls and talk to people, it will definitely help you.

You can distribute your activity cards in almost the same places as you would the flyers. Again, be creative. I have left cards on the sink counters of public restrooms. I have also inserted them inside payment envelopes. There are a lot of restaurants that have a bowl or jar containing business cards, so you can add yours there too.

Having a business/activity card also shows that you are serious and professional about what you are doing. It can make a positive first impression.

You can have business cards made at your local office supply store. The most affordable place you can get them online is VistaPrint. They have a special where you can get 250 cards for free and just pay for the shipping. That's a nice as well as cheap way to start off.

Off-line Marketing Tips

Posted on March 31, 2012 at 11:05 PM Comments comments (1)

Many people complain that direct mail marketing is too expensive to start off with. Yes, you do have to budget for this type of marketing, but the rewards will far outweigh any initial costs. However, there are some of you on a shoestring budget, so today I wanted to talk about flyer distribution in your local areas.

Distributing your flyers locally is one of the least expensive forms of marketing that you can do. However, you want to be smart about where you choose to distribute flyers in order to maximize your potential responses. First of all, you will want to distibute as many flyers as you possibly can. At a minimum, you want to distribute at least 1,000 flyers weekly. Just like with direct mail, the more flyers you distribute, the higher your chances of receiving responses. However, unlike direct mail, you are distributing your flyers to a less targeted group of people, so in theory you will need to distribute more of them in order to generate a good precentage of response.

So now you may be asking, where are some good places to distribute flyers? Good question. Neighborhoods may not be the best place to consider. You need to be aware of what the laws and ordinances are for the areas that you want to distribute your flyers. A lot of subdivisions prohibit the distribution of flyers. So be careful about leaving flyers in neighborhoods, otherwise you could incur a fine.

Flyers are best distributed in places with a high amount of traffic. Places such as laundromats will usually have bulletin boards in them where you can pin your flyer to them. Another place is at local Chinese restaurants where they usually have a designated area for flyers and brochures. You can insert them in free publications for real estate and free classifieds. You can also go on college campuses to the student union areas and post them on the bulletin boards in there. Some apartment complexes also have bulletin boards located near the mailboxes where you can post a flyer. However be careful with this as some apartment complexes prohibit any form of solicitation including posting a flyer.

Be creative in how you distribute your flyers. Again, consistency is key. Be diligent with your flyer distributiuon and you can reap the rewards of your efforts.

How Many Should I Mail Out?

Posted on March 24, 2012 at 12:30 AM Comments comments (7)

In the previous entry, we talked about making your mailing pieces appealing to people who will receive your letter. So now that you have put together your cover letter, your actual circular/flyer, and your "rider" circular you can then pllace them inside envelopes, affix the labels on them along with the first class stamps. So now the question is, "How many do I mail out in order to get a good response?"

Again, your response is dependent upon the quality of your mailing list. If you have a good quality list, your responses should be between 2 to 5% of your mailing total. For example, if you mail out 1,000 letters, your response should be anywhere between 20 to 50 people. If you mail out 500 letters, those numbers should be anywhere between 10 to 25 people.

How many you mail out is dependent upon your budget. However, if you can afford to do so, you should try to mail out a minimum of 1,000 letters. Most direct mail marketers agree that mailing out a minimum of 1,000 letters increases your chances of receiving a decent number of responses. This is important so that it allows you to not only break even with your initial costs, but also help to put you into profit more quickly.

What if you can't afford to mail out 1,000 letters? Then mail out what you can afford to do. Try to figure out how much you can afford to mail out on weekly basis even if it's only 50 letters a week or less. Mailing out weekly provides more consistency and more responses rather than monthly or sporadically.

Consistency is the key with direct mail marketing. The more letters that you mail out on a frequent basis, the higher your chances are of receiving responses. Don't be discouraged at first if you don't receive as many responses as you expected. It takes time for it to happen, but eventually it does. Try to remain focused and determined in your success. You will eventually achieve it.

Your Mailing Pieces

Posted on March 21, 2012 at 9:50 PM Comments comments (0)

Once you have purchased a mailing list consisting of opportunity buyers from a reputable mailing list company or broker, you should then focus your attention on the mailing pieces. You want to draw as much attention as possible to your mailing pieces. Your mailing pieces consist of your flyer, your cover letter, and the envelope itself. You also might include a "rider" program too.

If your budget allows, try to use colored paper rather than just plain white paper for your flyers and cover letters. You should even consider using colored envelopes as well. This helps your letter to stand out from the other mail that a person receives in their mailbox. For example, I use goldenrod paper for my cover letter and flyer for Franklin's Gift Club. For the Stamp Maximizer 100 flyer, I use a pastel green color. I also use goldenrod for my envelopes too. People are drawn to something colorful, so try to use that tactic when mailing.

Another great benefit of FGC is that you are provided with a pdf envelope template that has text and graphics on it. This makes the mailing piece even more attractive. A good online source for ordering colorful envelopes is Envelopes Express.

Please keep in mind that you should NOT alter the text of the actual flyer itself. This can get you into trouble with your program monitor and jeopardize your membership status. You shouldn't want to hurt the integrity of the program by changing any of the content. However, you can use different colors. If you cannot afford to use colored envelopes or paper, you can use inexpensive inking stamps on the envelopes in order to make your mailing stand out.

What you have to keep in mind is that you will get at the most, a 10 second window for someone to decide to open your mailing piece. The more colorful it is, the more enticing it will be. The more enticing it is, they more likely they will open it and actually read it.

Direct Mail Marketing Tips

Posted on March 18, 2012 at 9:55 PM Comments comments (0)

Now that you have a great money making program to be a part of, plus a supplemental program that will help you to save on postage in the future, I want to provide you with some tips in the next few entries that will help you to gain success more quickly with The Frankln's Gift Club.

One of the most important things you will receive in your FGC packet when you join is a directory of mailing list brokers. Selecting a good mailing list broker is one of the most important aspects of direct mail marketing you will ever do. Your direct mail marketing success is dependent upon the quality of the mailing list that you use.

If you don't use a mailing list broker from the directory, always make sure that the broker or company that you decide to use has been in business for a long time and has established a good reputation regarding their lists. When ordering your lists, make sure you select a list of opportunity buyers, not opportunity seekers. Opportunity seekers tend to be "tirekickers". They want to inquire about work at home opportunities but rarely take action. Whereas opportunity buyers have had a history of purchasing products or services in the past pertaining to working at home. They are more likely to take action.

So remeber, your direct mail marketing campaign begins and ends with the quality of your lists. We'll discuss more in the next entry. So stay tuned. In the meantime, signup for Franklin's Gift Club today if you haven't done so already.

What A Perfect Pair!

I have received a lot of positive responses from readers about the addition of The Stamp Maximizer 100 to the Franklin's Gift Club Blog. It's the perfect solution to the issue that many new offline marketers had about mailing out flyers. It also helps to deter the naysayers who always come up with an excuse as to why they can't join a program. For the longest time people would say "Oh, I can't afford to join this because mailing out flyers is so expensive!" With SM 100, you'll receive tons of free stamps for your mailings! Those stamps are Forever stamps which means that no matter how much the Post Office jacks up the price, the forever stamps will still remain usable.

Sign up for Franklin's Gift Club today and then join The Stamp Maximizer 100. It's a great combination!

If you have trouble uploading the pdf circulars for either program, just send me an e-mail at profithub@gmail.com. Thanks.

Stamp Maximizer 100

Posted on March 6, 2012 at 9:15 PM Comments comments (0)

I'd like to introduce a program that has just been added to the Franklin's Gift Club Blog. It is called The Stamp Maximizer 100. Yes, as the name suggests, it is a stamp program. It is a very popular program, especially for individuals who heavily promote offline via direct mail.

One of the biggest complaints about offline direct mail marketing is the cost of postage. Sending out a 1,000 piece mailing can be costly and with the ever rising cost of postage, the expense continues to grow! One of the biggest secrets that the most successful individuals in cash gifting have had is the ability to do mass mailings while NEVER having to pay for their postage. How were they able to do this? By participating in a stamp program!

So how does The Stamp Maximizer 100 work? It's very simple! You fill out the form and send 15 books (containing 20 stamps per book) of Forever stamps to the program monitor. 100 stamps (5 books) goes to each person in dealer positions #1 and # 2, plus the program monitor receives 100 stamps. The program monitor will forward the stamps to the appropriate dealer along with sending you a packet containing your master copy of the circular for you to distribute to prospects.

The beauty of this program is that you can add a copy of The Stamp Maximizer flyer as a "rider" when you mail out out your Franklin's Gift Club flyer to prospects. There is also a residual element to this program. When someone joins TSM under you, they will start mailing out flyers. As people join under them, you will receive stamps too because your name is moved to dealer position # 2. This allows for receiving a potentially unlimited supply of stamps!!!! Imagine how many flyers you can send out! The more flyers you send out the greater the potential of reciving even more stamps.

When you combine Franklin's Gift Club and The Stamp Maximizer 100, you have a truly powerful cash and stamp generating opportunity!  They are both very simple programs! Check them both out today! Click on the icons below!

Note: It may take a little while longer for the Stamp Maximizer pdf file to load. Just refresh your browser if it is slow. Otherwise you can send me an e-mail at profithub@gmail.com and I will send you the pdf file via e-mail.

Cashgifting vs MLM

Posted on March 1, 2012 at 9:20 PM Comments comments (0)

What are the advantages of cash gifting vs MLM?

MLM programs are based on the promotion of products. You pay a monthly subscription fee for a product that nobody wants or needs and then you are stuck trying to promote it to others to recoup your initial investment costs.

Cash gifting programs eliminate all of the nonsense that you will find in the MLM programs. First of all, there is no product to buy or sell. You give an initial cash gift. Then it's your turn to receive cash gifts. Over and over again! It's that simple!

Cash gifting is about like-minded individuals giving and receiving cash. It's about sowing and reaping. Gifting represents the timeless concept of generosity. You help others when you give to them, and in return you prosper many times over.

MLM turns out to be a solo endeavor. There is a lot of competition amongst members. Most programs have up-lines that are either uninterested or unable to help the newcomer. That's one big reason that over 97% of MLM endeavors fail wretchedly within the first year.

Cash gifting of today is all about teamwork. Experienced mentors are in place to help you through every step of the process. These professional coaches have been where you are as a newcomer. They care and want to help you to succeed because your success is their success.

Also - unlike MLM - gifting programs have well established and proven statistical success offline. This is good because when you bring in a newcomer to an online business, there is an extreme learning curve to overcome.Technology confuses many. These people are free to develop their gifting activity via offline advertising sources as well as the online sources. This enhances the individual's ability to duplicate the proven methods of success.

So in summary, the advantages of Cash Gifting are:

Tax free money

Mentoring & training

Duplication of proven successful methods

No monthly or annual fees

No qualifiers

No product

No auto-ship

No meetings

No recruiting
